Cuadra Espresso Machine

The Cuadra by La Nuova Era with its E61 Faema group is fantastic and very forgiving for any barista errors (tamping, grind). Can't praise enough its excellent steam pressure. Also it is a truly great looking machine! I have been looking for an E61 machine with heat exchanger, and I did find an ECM's Giotto but I wasn't able to afford it Cuadra delivered all that Giotto does for a much better price.. The coffee it produces is simply outstanding; I love the espresso, children love steamers and chocolate.The machine has a nicely weighted portafilter, the E61 group is much heavier than that of most of the other machines I've seen in stores which helps in very temperature stable. The 3 liter water tank's capacity is nice, allows on pulling shots, steaming milk and flushing without worrying that you might run out of water. The 1.8 liter copper boiler reaches 9 bar within 10 minutes, we leave the machine on all day. Having separate steam and hot water wands, both on ball joints and with full knob control seems almost like luxury to us after using Rancillo for years. The fully finished back allowed us to place the unit on an opened counter for all to see its remarkable beauty. Thanks all4coffee.com for a very personal and professional advice/service.
