La Pavoni PUB 1EM 1 Group Pour-Over Commercial Espresso Machine

La Pavoni 1EM machine was purchased few months ago and I just didn't have the time to write a review of this espresso machine until now. After its arrival it took me couple of days to get used to the power of this machine - both steaming and coffee extraction. Until then I was a "happy" owner of Silvia by Rancillo which I thought was a pretty good machine... PUB EM1 changed my mind. I can now easily steam enough milk for 4-6 cappuccinos in one big frothing pitcher which wasn't possible w/ Silvia. Extraction of coffee seems to yield a more complex shot. The ZIP grinder, also by La Pavoni does a great job but it is a monster in size. Since the machine is a pour-over with no direct water connection, I rinse and refill the water tank every week just to keep the water clean. Of course the all4coffee.com coffee is the best coffee I could find and I keep getting it on regular basis so I most likely should just join their coffee club, I guess. The unit is on 24/7, always ready to be fired. I love this. This purchase was my best coffee related decision ever. Great buying advice from this store! Thanks.
