Cuardra uses internal water tank, with no direct plumbing required. The Cuadra by La Nuova Era with its E61 Faema group is fantastic and very forgiving for any barista errors (tamping, grind). Can't praise enough its excellent steam pressure. Also it is a truly great looking machine! I have been looking for an E61 machine with heat exchanger, and I did find an ECM's Giotto but I wasn't able to afford it Cuadra delivered all that Giotto does for a much better price...
